I was (not for the first time) wrong about the remaining strength of the rebels. We will now see how many swing from Gaddafi as they continue to gain ground. Having taken the birth town of Gaddafi, Sirt – though supposedly he was born in a Bedouin tent near there. The rebels remember Sarcosi however as being the air strikes parent. Maybe because they were first ? Wonder how much this spurred on Cameron to get that week end order in, which did end up getting pretty full support from Westminster.

So what next NATO have now taken over the AirStrikes from the United Nations – I’m not quite sure if Tripoli will be easy for rebel forces to take without any armour, more than 4×4’s with a 50 cal mounted on top.
